I feel good about my baby steps taken yesterday in de-cluttering my home. I told you how I began my day with the 5 minutes to clean the top of my night stand. Later in the day I cleared another area and began a bag of give away clothes. Today I will do another small area. Maybe two. I have my crochet list of "Must Get Done". Once those items are taken care of then I can concentrate more fully on my surroundings. The goal is to make progress daily ~ every little bit thrown away or given away is a step closer to being completely de-cluttered. Trust me I have had this in mind for too many years now & it is long over due to become my reality. I have been the Queen Mother of Procrastination. I'd like to change my title. Not sure to what exactly but I've already steered one generation in the wrong direction thinking that procrastination won't really hurt you when it most certainly can & does. Perhaps it's not too late to make the positive changes so my grandchildren can reap the benefits of my "wisdom" ??? LOL
I've finished the hat for my mom. I must admit I do like it. It is colorful, but it should be very warm.
Here is a pic of Adriana's toddler bed afghan. It is a Project Linus pattern called Granny Ripple.
I have tried to make this pattern several times & never seemed to "get it" don't ask me why since it is a very easy pattern. Once you have worked the first two rows all you do is repeat row two until it is time to fasten off. And the picture does show it off pretty well that it resembles a granny due to the "granny shell" and it is clearly a ripple!
On to other memories... I have several more photos to share regarding the Murano Glass demonstration but am not prepared to post them right now. If time permits later in the day or sometime early in this week I'll do a post of photos or perhaps two.
Wishing you all frog free projects. May you find the beginning of your new year off to a grand start ~ even if you need to take baby steps like me in order to accomplish something you've managed to put off for years.
